Procurement that does more than just save money.
Our 2026 ESG Report sets out what we achieved in 2025 across social value, environmental impact, supply chain and responsible business, and where we’re headed next.
Procurement that does more than just save money.
Social landlords are under more pressure than ever to demonstrate the social value their procurement delivers. Regulators want evidence, boards want assurance and residents want to know their landlord is doing the right thing. Our 2026 ESG Report shows how working with PfH helps you do exactly that, while giving a full account of our own progress and commitments.
At PfH, our purpose has always been to have a positive impact on people’s lives. This report is our annual account of how that plays out in practice, through the contracts we manage, the suppliers we work with, the communities we support and the way we run our own business.
2025 was a year of real, measurable progress. But behind the numbers are people. Families supported through fundraising, children who received Christmas gifts, apprentices starting their careers and communities whose local economies are a little stronger because of how procurement was done.
“This was our first time using PfH and we were impressed by how straightforward the process was. The PfH team kept us up to date at all times, and the contract was awarded promptly.” Gavin Wright, Head of Property Management, Bield Housing and Care
What’s in the report:
- How we generated £2.17 million in social value through supplier contracts with our members, an 8.5% increase on the previous year, and what that meant for the families and communities it reached.
- Our partnership with Clarion Futures, where a £205,700 contribution enabled the charity to deliver community grants that improved wellbeing and created opportunities for social housing residents across the country.
- The story behind our record £193.5 million spend with SMEs, up 51% on 2024, and how we’re opening up procurement to smaller, innovative and community-based businesses.
- How we achieved B Corp certification, what it means for how we operate day to day, and why we were named one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work with a 92% job satisfaction rate among our team.
- How we delivered a Net Promoter Score of 73, putting us firmly in exceptional territory, and what our members told us about their experience of working with us.
- Our environmental progress in 2025, including zero direct Scope 1 emissions for the fourth consecutive year, an 11.5% reduction in Scope 2 emissions and a 6% improvement in carbon intensity per employee, all while delivering more for members than ever before.
- How our ESG commitments align with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and the areas where we believe procurement can make the greatest long-term difference.
- The supplier stories that bring our commitments to life, from Bell Group UK’s work with St Mungo’s on homelessness to Paint360’s recycled paint that cuts members’ carbon footprints.
- Our ambitions for 2026, including £200 million SME spend, £95 million net zero spend and a target of £2.2 million in social value contributions.
