Residential Furniture and Furnishings
PfH is delighted to announce that a new Residential Furniture and
Furnishings Agreement has been launched that could create savings
of up to 15%.
Following a highly competitive fully OJEU compliant tendering process,
PfH have appointed four suppliers in compliance with new EU regulations
encouraging mini- competition. The PfH Product Group for Residential
Furniture and Furnishings believes that a combination of these four
suppliers will provide PfH Members with sufficient capacity, geographical
coverage, product range and services to meet all Members' needs.
"PfH, with input from Members, have been through a rigorous
sourcing exercise for the tendering of Residential Furniture and
Furnishings. The exercise has looked at many other aspects of potential
suppliers and products, other than just price, including suitability
and experience in the housing sector. As a result the suppliers
selected under the contract provide housing organisations with a
tailored solution to their furniture and furnishings requirements.
Housing 21 are already planning to work with at least one if not
more of the contracted suppliers". Lee Royal, Chair of

The four selected suppliers are Carleton Furniture Group,
Furniture Resource Centre, Huntleigh Renray and Peel
Mount Contract Furnishings. Carleton specialise in Furniture
with the other three suppliers specialising in both Furniture &
Furnishings.
