PfH is pleased to announce the launch of a new Appliances Agreement, which went live on 11th September, 2006. Through extensive research, PfH has identified a collective spend of £24m a year on Appliances (from washing machines to televisions) by Members. Having achieved a 10% saving, this new deal could create savings of £2.4m a year.

In addition to the lowest prices, the deal offers other key associated services. With the introduction of the WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) PfH has ensured that successful suppliers are able to deliver, install, remove and dispose of the old appliance that Members are replacing.

Following a highly competitive fully OJEU compliant tendering process, PfH has appointed three suppliers to ensure that strict service requirements, geographical coverage and highly competitive pricing is achieved. The three selected suppliers are DSG international Plc, JLA Ltd and Furniture Resource Centre.

DSG Business Services is part of DSG international Plc (DSGi), Europe’s leading specialist electrical retailing group. Opening their first store in the UK in 1937, DSGi is well known under several trading names, including Currys.digital on the high street, Currys superstores and online as Dixons.co.uk. DSG Business Services can provide a vast range of high quality branded appliances supported by a nationwide services infrastructure.

JLA is the UK's leading distributor of commercial laundry equipment. Formed over 30 years ago, the company supplies a comprehensive range of commercial washers and dryers and can offer packages that can give your organisation complete peace of mind.

Furniture Resource Centre has been established for over 18 years and offers a wide range of quality branded appliances. FRC offers a ‘one stop’ package for RSLs.
