Digital TV Reception Systems
PfH can announce that an agreement for the supply and installation
of Digital TV Reception Systems has been launched. News about this
agreement created a huge amount of interest at PfH's Annual Conference
in October 2006 and we're sure you will be keen to take it up when
you hear about the benefits.

PfH and Fusion21 have jointly launched the agreement that
is set to save PfH Members approximately 20% on the supply
and installation of reception systems. In addition to gaining
highly competitive prices, Members will benefit from a wide
choice of highly experienced, accredited installers, all appointed
via a rigorous, EU compliant selection process. Installers,
selected across the 14 ITV Regions by Fusion21, will use an
extensive catalogue of materials and equipment via PfH's supply
chain, on a supply and install basis.

Digital TV Switchover is a critical issue. Key digital industry
bodies are predicting that social housing organisations are likely
to be faced with rising costs as the switchover deadlines loom and
the demand for qualified, skilled installers dramatically outweighs
the available supply.
PfH and Fusion21's Digital TV Reception Systems Agreement aims
to guarantee quality contractors to complete installations within
the Government's stated timetable. Starting in Whitehaven in 2007
and ending in 2012, current analogue transmitters will be replaced
entirely by digital, TV region by TV region.
Together PfH and Fusion21 have developed the most efficient solution
for Digital TV Switchover in the social housing sector. Whatever
stage you are at with your own switchover, we strongly recommend
that you register your interest in the agreement by contacting PfH
on info@procurementforhousing.co.uk.
