This agreement is set to run for the duration of three years with an additional twelve months extension for satisfactory performance.

Summary and Benefits

The Building Cleaning Services Framework is a fully EU compliant framework through which current and future PfH Members can procure cleaning services for property portfolios including offices, communal areas and sheltered accommodations, for instance..

The PfH Building Cleaning Services Framework offers Members a variety of features and benefits that will provide tangible cost efficiencies and savings. Whilst benefiting from increased value-add through the Agreement, PfH Members could also benefit from a reduction in hourly cleaning rates of up to 30%. 

Features and benefits of the PfH Building Cleaning Services Framework include the following:

Value for Money

  • Fully transparent invoice breakdown as standard.

  • On-going quality and credibility of cleaning staff through comprehensive, free of charge candidate vetting procedures and checks, including Criminal Records Bureau checking.

  • Extensive management information reporting available online and free of charge through the majority of suppliers.

  • Expert assistance available in TUPE situations to ensure that optimum decisions can be made.

 

Greater Choice and Flexibility

  • Choice of cleaning options through six geographic lots for cleaning services.

  • National coverage with a wide variety of expertise and experience to provide increased flexibility.

  • Seven suppliers awarded across six lots with a minimum of three suppliers within each lot to allow for increased competition and choice.

  • Three national and four regional suppliers awarded to the contract.

  • Suppliers able to provide weekly invoice information to support streamlined management of invoice payments.

 

Pricing and Services Tailored to Member Needs

  • A clear and concise set of cleaning standards has been established within the framework, and agreed by all awarded suppliers.

  • Specific materials standards and environmental considerations have been established within the Framework and agreed by all awarded suppliers.

  • Negotiated hourly cleaning rates calculated for every postcode in the UK.
