Summary
The Appliances Agreement provides substantial cost efficiencies of up to 20% and offers significant choice to Members. Due to the nature of the Agreement, the contract was awarded in two lots to five suppliers; two to Commercial Appliances and three to Domestic Appliances.

Following Member feedback during the tender process, this Agreement now includes a greater choice of energy efficient and sustainable products, such as the AAA standard. Furthermore, the Agreement includes electronic equipment and smaller appliances including digital televisions, kettles, toasters and hoovers.
Contract period
October 2010 - October 2013
The agreement is set to run for the duration of three years, with an additional 12 months extension for satisfactory performance.

The agreement offers ongoing contract management with extensive supplier performance monitoring in the following areas:

Guarantee to deliver all goods/services within the lead-times specified to Member locations nationwide

Respond to all operational enquiries within four working hours

Invoice accuracy

Invoice timeliness

Provide management information reports detailing the KPI's for contract usage, invoicing and pricing and product mix
Data management agreement

Guarantee to provide to Members with a copy of all invoices within seven days from delivery of order

Guarantee to clearly state on all Members invoices: ‘Invoices are for Members' records only and payment shall be collected via Central Billing'

Guarantee to resolve all Members invoice queries within 7 days from query being made
