2010 has been a year of change for PfH. Not only in terms of a transition in the leadership team within PfH and the Advisory Committee but most significantly within the external environment. Faced with the coalition government's emergency budget and the outcome of the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) around the corner, the sector confronts an age of difficulty. Efficiency savings through aggregated procurement are more critical than ever before.

PfH is committed to helping its Members achieve more for less. We have listened to our Members' requests and have launched a number of new and improved agreements including Janitorial, Workwear and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Materials and Vehicle Fleet Management Agreements amongst others. 2010 has also seen the launch of the PfH Marketplace, an electronic trading portal which will further help our Members save money and time when accessing the consortium's framework agreements. Furthermore, in response to CLG's recent Warm Homes, Greener Homes Strategy, PfH is undertaking a joint approach with Fusion21 to retro-fitting involving contractors, consultants, suppliers, products, services, skills, jobs and training , together with resident awareness and information aligned to green homes policy.
