Over the past five years, PfH has delivered the PfH Annual Conference and Exhibition which has helped to shape and enhance procurement for the social housing sector. This year's event entitled "Collaboration: The Mother of Invention", discussed how real collaboration requires a complete mind shift and that despite being risky and expensive, the sector must collaborate to survive, let alone thrive. Delegates heard how this requires mavericks committed to innovation to generate a bottom-up culture of collaboration, putting their ultimate goal - the wellbeing and wealth of the citizenry - above their own short-term interests.
