More choice and better prices with new Computer Equipment and MFDs agreements.

14th May, 2009

PfH has merged the ICT Equipment and Photocopiers contracts to launch a brand new ICT and MFDs agreement.

This major new agreement provides Members with a much wider choice of suppliers all offering highly competitive prices and a broader range of items from different manufacturers including Dell, Toshiba, HP and many more.

By appointing multiple suppliers to the aligned agreement, PfH will boost competition - driving down costs and increasing benefits for Members.

Once signed up to the new ICT and MFDs agreement, which is fully EU compliant, Members can choose from a range of manufacturers' products with the option to either lease or purchase outright.

Local Service Level Agreements can be set up with each Member where required so PfH Members can create a call-off stock of goods which they can use and pay for as and when required.

PfH took the decision to align the ICT Equipment and Photocopiers contracts into a single agreement because the technology spanning both contract areas is rapidly converging as are the suppliers and manufacturers of the hardware. By providing a single contract the processes have been simplified making the tender attractive to potential suppliers and achieving better terms for Members.

The six chosen suppliers are a mix of SMEs and national companies who can provide a range of different solutions to PfH Members. The ICT providers are all vendor independent which means that all hardware can be sourced through this agreement.

PfH also engaged with hardware manufacturers throughout the process in order to provide the chosen suppliers with a solution that is extremely competitive within the market.

Suppliers providing ICT Hardware and Peripherals include Alpha, Computerland and Lanway. Photocopier and MFD suppliers include Altodigital, Computerland and M2 Digital.
