Forthcoming Retrofit Agreements from PfH and Fusion21

PfH and Fusion21 have been working together for the last 12 months to develop a Retrofit Solution which will help the social housing sector meet one of the biggest challenges of the decade. The project takes a holistic approach to sustainable retrofitting, incorporating contractors, consultants, suppliers, products, services, skills, jobs and resident training, which will be focused on meeting the Green Deal and wider sustainability agendas.

The retrofit solution includes two key elements: Procurement Services and; Training and Employment Services.

The Procurement Services solution will include the supply and fit of materials in five key areas which will be launched between May and September 2011.

• Photovoltaics and Solar - May 2011

• Insulation and Air Tightness - July 2011

• Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) and Heat Recovery Ventilation - July 2011

• Pumps - September 2011

• Flue Gas Heat Recovery - September 2011
