Purpose of the post
PfH is seeking an Advisory Committee Chair.
1. Purpose of the post
1.1. To provide leadership for the Advisory Committee and help to develop the wider potential of PfH in providing the housing sector with a leading edge procurement consortium to deliver efficiency savings and value for money;
1.2. to provide sector expertise for PfH, and;
1.3. to support and constructively challenge the work of the PfH Managing Director on behalf of the Committee;
2. Duties
2.1. To attend and chair meetings of the Committee on a quarterly basis and more frequently if required;
2.2. to approve the agenda for meetings of the Committee on the advice of the PfH Managing Director;
2.3. to receive quarterly reports from the Managing Director;
2.4. to attend and chair the Annual Members Forum and the Annual Conference;
2.5. to represent PfH in appropriate contexts agreed by the Committee;
2.6. to meet on an occasional basis with clients, potential clients, suppliers and other stakeholders, and;
2.7 to communicate informally with other Directors and Members of the Committee as required.
